The Children

Aadhi was found abandoned by a dry
river bed in June 2014. He was
approximately 16 months old and
weighed 11 pounds. He faced a host
of medical issues including seizures. Aadhi Now > He is now seizure free and attending
school. Meet Ambika > Ambika came in June 2018. She was
found abandoned by the side of
Ganga filthy and traumatized. She had
pneumonia, severe anemia and many
other health issues. Ambika Now > Four months later she looks like a
different child. Meet Amita > When Amita arrived she weighed 3.5
pounds. She was tube fed every hour
for ten straight days. Amita Now > Today she is a student at a prestigious
college, captain of the field hockey
team and plays on the state all star
team at national tournaments. Meet Gauri > Gauri joined us a 2.5 years old,
after being abandoned in a train station.
She had a multitude of health issues. Gauri Now > Five years later she is on her way
to school! Meet Shivani > Six year old Shivani was abandoned in
