Congratulations to Jaya and Kshitij on their marriage.

Jaya came to Sri Ram Ashram when she was approximately six years old. She completed her class 12 at our school, Shri Ram Vidya Mandir, and her received a B.A from M.K.P. College in Dehradun. She moved to Gurgaon and began her career as a Patient Care Coordinator in various hospitals. On January 19, 2019, Jaya wed Kshitij Patak and businessman from Delhi.

Jaya and Kshitij’s wedding was a wonderful, joyful occasion. Our Sri Ram Ashram family showed up from all over India to celebrate Jaya and Kshitij’s marriage. We began the morning before with the traditional haldi ceremony where the brides family embraces and blesses their daughter. The evening before we gathered and danced while Jaya and others applied beautiful mahendi designs. On the morning of the wedding Jaya looked like a goddess. Kshitij arrived in full splendor and the rituals of merging two families began.

We are so proud of Jaya and what she has accomplished in life. We are thrilled to welcome the Patak family to our Sri Ram Ashram family. We wish them both a long blessed life of companionship.
