We have a lovely Christmas tradition at Sri Ram Ashram. Speculation on the surprise Santa starts early. Lots of fun guessing games. On the afternoon of Christmas Eve we spend the afternoon making Christmas ornaments while a branches are deftly arranged into a tree. After dinner we have chocolate milk and decorate the tree. Of course there is always music and dancing. After the little kids go to bed the older kids stuff their stockings with various gifts. The next morning Santa and Mrs. Claus make an appearance. This time their sleigh was the bicycle rickshaw. After lots of fun and butt bumps by Santa Mr. and Mrs. Claus (Gautam and Savita) pass out the stockings. Gautam, always the fun brother, was a hysterical Santa. 

The best part of our Christmas is how the older kids come home to carry the tradition forward for the younger kids. We are the Sharan family and proud of it.
