8. All Guests must observe the various rules appropriate behaviors of Sri Ram Ashram, as posted and communicated by the management. We draw your attention here to several important discipline guidelines:

  • An important general guideline is not to single out any one child for special attention. Please do your best to treat all of the children with the same love and respect.
  • If you wish to sponsor an event or party for all the children, that is most welcome after checking timing with management, but please do not single out one particular child for gifts or money, including college-going children and ashram staff.
  • Physical contact with children is permitted in the context of their specific care or in culturally appropriate ways and situations. If you have any questions about this please consult one of our management staff. Although physical affection is natural to human relationships, we must have this guideline for the protection of the children and our visitors. Your mature acceptance and navigation of this, while challenging, is essential.
  • Any guests who are unable or refuse to observe the various rules of the Ashram may, at the discretion of the management, be asked to leave the premises. [Click here to see the detailed rules and guidelines for visitors]
